From delito bistro

Number 83 opened as a Lebanese deli, with a display counter and food served on trays. Then the dining room was redone, the sign changed to Bistrô meza libaneza and the menu changed too.

The pattern on the menu, in blue, red and cream, is also on the board outside and on the staff t‑shirts.

The dining room

The floor is patterned cement tile in cream, ochre and blue, and cloud-shaped lamps hang from the ceiling.

The counter is made of wooden slats, with the bottles on a green shelf. The tables have red and green placemats, and there is a tufted bench by the window.

The terrace

Outside, there is a terrace on the street, with wooden tables. No smoking inside; smoking is allowed on the terrace.

The kitchen

The cooking is Lebanese. There are six cold and eight hot mezze to share, seven main courses and four desserts: mafroukeh, mohalabieh, kunefe and baklava rolls. The menu is in English and Portuguese, and marks the vegetarian and vegan dishes.

At the bar

The drinks list has house cocktails, some with arak, sumac or rose water, and cocktails made with Why Not sodas. There is also Almaza Lebanese beer, sangria and Lebanese coffee.
